I would like to suggest adding an author for articles. What do you have to do to be able to suggest properties?

Hi Zachary, essays and articles are covered by the Short Non-fiction type, which as you can see already has an Author property. This property is also reciprocated on the Author type, meaning if you adds the Author to a work of Short Non-fiction, the work also shows up on the topic about the author.
As an example, see the essay The Poetic Principle by Edgar Allan Poe. If you click on Poe's name under the Author property, it will take you to the topic about Poe where this essay is also displayed.
Suggestions and questions are always welcome. You've done the right thing by posting on the Discussion page of a related topic. -
I must have been blind. I didn't see "Article" under "mode of writing".
Is there a genral discussion area or do I have to post attached to an item? I was also wondering what you have to do to be able to suggest a type property? Thanks -
Hi Zachary, to encourage questions and suggestions and make it easy for users to find and use this feature, a discussion link has been created for every domain, type and topic. Generally, you want to post on a related object so as to give your post context and help other interested users find it. A property suggestion would be best posted on that type or in the domain. Anyone can suggest a new property or modifications to existing types via discussion, and if you browse around, you will see that many users have done that. Feel free to post your suggestions.
