I'm looking for energetic developers willing to to use the Freebase API to contribute to an web-based innovation named "Interchangeable Master Channels" (IMCs).
Using a master brand called Infopod com [tm], IMCs consist of hundreds of product and service-specific dot com master channels, each one of which perfectly resolve at level two. (See USPTO.gov). The level two IMCs, each one of which is called a "pod", will allow end users to access indefinite numbers of level three "brand channels". The level three brand channels legally apply famous brand names to the namers of the channels which then identify the brand name products and services provided by individual merchants in local communities that are themselves defined by zip codes and postal codes around the world.
To my knowledge nobody, including Google, has ever been able to construct an architecture, as distinct from asearch algorithm, that allows end users to in effect "go inside" individual store front businesses, where the "go inside" part is a function of the storefront merchants themselves who over time provide the source copy that identifies (a) the brand names carried by the individual merchants; and (b) identify more or less real time access to local promotions offered by the merchants themselves.
IMCs are real! Hundreds of individual product and service master channels (the "pods") have been secured in the dot-com name space. Infopod is intended to be a business with real business fundamentals where local Infopod licensees are defined by their own postal codes and zip codes.
Infopod.com is an evolving design. It is intended to work with Freebase. It requires real innovators whose intellectual property, meaning the Infopod applications that they create, will be rewarded with local ownership options that nonetheless incorporate Creative Commons licensing.
