        We've been testing out the location data model on the U.S., which is why there are types for US cities, states, counties, etc., and precious little else. Once we're sure the model works, we'll gradually roll it out to encompass all countries. For now, cities outside of the US are all of the type "city/town." Finishing the location schemas for all countries is a high priority for us, so you should start to see additional countries in the relatively near future.

    Does this use live Freebase data?

        Indeed, there seems to be a problem with the way this queries the db. When you write to the db through freebase.com a cookie is modified, then, subsequent reads should give you fresh data. For some reason this app is not including that cookie (mwLastWriteTime) in the request, so you are getting cache'd responses (up to an hour old). I'll open a bug for this. Thanks!

        Glad you like Concierge! It was created with MJT, the Metaweb Javascript Templating language, which you can find at www.mjtemplate.org. We're right in the middle of creating a tutorial that will help you create similar apps of your own. We'll have that soon, and we'll feature it prominently when it's ready. I'm not sure what you mean by getting this on your own webspace. Can you ask that another way to help me understand? Best, Sarah

    Login sync issues have been fixed

      Just a note that logins are currently being synced much more promptly. I don't want to suggest an admin attitude of editing discussion boards, but maybe these posts should be removed now that they're no longer valid?

        See the discussion thread just above yours. Login to Concierge is through sandbox.freebase.com, not freebase.com. If you're a new user, the authentication info may not have been copied over to sandbox yet. That happens once a week -- usually on Monday afternoons.

        Hi Brendan-

        New accounts are created on our main server (www.freebase.com) and are copied over to the sandbox server (sandbox.freebase.com) once a week, usually on Monday afternoon. The Concierge app connects to the sandbox server, so unfortunately you won't be able to access it until the new accounts get copied over on Monday.

        Sorry for the confusion!
