An interview isn't really a type of film. It's a type of interaction between two people. Film is just how it is recorded so it could also be written. Maybe it should be a type with person/interviewee person/interviewer and recording/type or someting like that?

In this case it is a type of performance within a film.
In the most common case a person interviewed in a documentary. The performer is the interviewee (and maybe the interviewer as well, e.g. Roger Moore in his many documentaries or the guy in Supersize Me) and for the type of performance it is an on-camera interview.
