Hi Jeff,
I've come across your work on Yield Prolog on thefirst.org. Being something of a Prolog fan (well, I have been collaborating with people in the AI department at Edinburgh since 1981...), it's seemed to me that the world needs to be able to embed Prolog in web pages. So I'm delighted to read about the Javascript version. But why oh why did you not use standard Prolog syntax? - that's a large part of the beauty of the language. Any plans to rectify the situation?

Hi Robert. Thanks for the interest. What you see on the main Yield Prolog page is the result of compiling standard Prolog syntax into embeddable C# or Python. To try standard Prolog, try the Query Editor at:
http://yieldprolog.sourceforge.net/queryEditor.html
This is the Yield Prolog compiler running in native Javascript, compiling Prolog to Javascript. You need Firefox 3 for this to work.

Just so you know, because it's not entirely obvious from our new user documentation, you can always use http://sandbox.freebase.com/ to do all sorts of wacky testing with schemas or topics without worrying about affecting anything for more than a week. It's fully refreshed every Monday afternoon with a copy of the "real" Freebase.
