Rob, I am copying this discussion over to Jack’s user account. The app is over a year old, and it is possible that changes to our data model or API since then have meant that the app requires some changes.

I entered a long explanation once but wasnt a registered member and my entry got wiped out. In short now, the site reverses the years entered and no results get returned.

Hi my name is mariana soffer, mariana.soffer@nektra.com, We have being using the sandbox and managed to make our types and upload our objects with the pyton scripts. First of all congrats on the new revolutionary Idea, I think is amazing. Beyond that we would love to collaborate as much as we can with this projects, I have an expertise in datamining, webmining, DNA (which is pretty related to language), NLP (a lot of this), installing nutch in several clusters to crawl the web, etc, etc. If you are interestested maybe we can collaborate in order to do intresting revolutionary proyects, taking advantage of each other expertise.

If you are intrested I can send you my CV, Iam the head of research from my company, and did my master in LA (currently I amk dealing with the phd).

First of all, i love the freebase project,
It is a very interesting new concept about data utilization and possibilities. Actually we started doing some trials uploading data in the sandbox, so we wont mess with your real data, we managed to declare types, use the python scripts for connecting, performing queries, uploading, etc. And now we are starting to plan some new and hopefully revolutionary way to display and handle the information that the application uses, and besides that apply datamining, NLP, multivariate stats, agregate data from other sites automatically. And create a really intresting project.

On the other side there are several of the projects that you still have not done but are willing to, such yours called web link import tool.

And since we have an expertise in crawling, storing and actualizing the data from the web, also in data visualization, nlp and any kind of techniques we want to apply to obtaing valuable information.from the dataset, if you are interested we can help each other somehow to help grow the amazing freebase project.
