This article should merge with WKPS; The LION 90.7fm is the public branding name for the radio station with the call letters WKPS (an FCC-assigned identification). The LION operates on the 90.7fm frequency as Penn State University's student radio station.

Radio format: Enumerated list instead of standard view?

Wouldn't this be better served by controlling the inputs to a restricted enumerated listing of the formats? Prevent people misspelling/misapplying to the wrong topics?

I don't think that merging the FM and AM stations makes sense -- they have different formats, frequencies, broadcast classes, etc.

There seem to be two, separate, radio stations in Hartford with the same callsign, one FM and one AM. Both are operated by the same company, but I don't think it makes sense to merge them -- they have different formats, frequencies, etc.

I think this seems like a reasonable request, but I'm trying to avoid adding too many types here, plus the TV network may be better generalized here to Broadcast network.. we probably need to poke around in the TV domain to see if that type is going anywhere.

We have no schema for radio programs right now, so if you want to try modeling it in your private domain, please do! We also seem to lack a "radio network" type, so you might need to add that as well. I don't know much about the ins and outs of radio (just what I can glean from listening to a show's credits), but I'd be happy to give you feedback, help, whatnot with your schema if you want/need it. Take a look at the model for TV program; much of it will probably be similar to radio.

A radio station, like a public radio station, has programs, analogous to the "TV program" hierarchy. These programs can be from a network e.g. NPR or can be locally produced. SO I might consider (but don't know how to add them)

There is a topic on radio network but no schema. I am trying to put Chicago Public Radio into both the NPR and PRI networks as a affiliate or member but there is none. Am I correct -- I have created stuff before and had to remove it because I missed something.

I don't think a corporation should be listed as a musical artist. The sound effect and language albums listed on MusicBrainz as being created by the BBC have obviously been made by a subsidiary brand (eg BBC Learning). I'll find out what the brands are, change them over, and then remove those types.

Radio stations (and TV stations) should be co-typed as broadcaster. I think the "areas served" property on the broadcaster schema will answer for you.
