Currently, if I want to fill in a mailing address I need to first check whether the city name includes the state before entering the state. Often it does, which results in many empty entries in the state property or accept redundant displays in the UI. State info could probably be identified (often indirectly) through the "Contained by" property. However, direct access to state properties or standard levels of political organization could be very useful too.
