Why are states included in many city names? For example: "Columbus, Ohio" vs. "Columbus" in Ohio. I know that a lot of cities have the same name but that's what location properties and disambiguation are for. Currently, if I want to fill in a mailing address I need to first check whether the city name includes the state before entering the state. Often it does, which results in many empty entries in the state property or accept redundant displays in the UI. State info could probably be identified (often indirectly) through the "Contained by" property. However, direct access to state properties or standard levels of political organization could be very useful too. My instinct is to find and enter the City name without the state suffix and then enter the state name separately or as part of a CVT with City.
