Baseball Team: Need more information on the rosters of teams

I think we'll likely handle historical rosters in the same way we did for basketball team - as a separate property on the type. Will try to add that in the next week or so.

This applies to more than just baseball teams I am sure, but for the Baseball Team type, there is only space for the current roster.

There should be information for when the person was on the team, so that players that were on the team in the past can be properly represented.

Currently, Lou Gehrig is listed as a person associated with the team, as a Baseball Player (separate from the roster). This seems a little hokey to me, since I should be able to look at the roster for any point in time to see who was on the team.

Also, as a side note, there should be a relationship added to the team for associations with minor league teams (as well as from-to dates for the association).

As per the subject line, a Baseball Team should have a field for a manager, general manager, as well as coaching fields (or have a list of coaches as well as types, like 1st base coach, hitting coach, bench coach, etc, etc).

The Baseball Manager schema should have a field of another type (0..*):

- Team
- From
- To

This would allow the history of the manager to be stored.

Retrosheet is a treasure trove of stats going back to the late 1800s. Their data is available for free for any usage. I, for one, would love to see this data be incorporated into Freebase.
