The first is a Java feature (of course) but it is also a feature of other programming languages, not necessarily object oriented. The second is an execution model.     <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;You're probably right. It appears that these are separate topics because there were two different Wikipedia articles, one about the programming language and one about the suite of technologies from Sun.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
That said, the easiest way to mark a topic as a duplicate is to select 'Flag as duplicate' from the down arrow menu item next to each topic's display name. This will mark it for review and consideration for merging.
