Dracula's Daughter is a 1936 horror film, a sequel to the 1931 film Dracula. This sequel begins a few moments after the previous film ends: Count Dracula has just been killed by Professor Van Helsing (Edward Van Sloan). Van Helsing is taken by police to Scotland Yard, where he explains that he indeed did kill Count Dracula, but because he was already dead for over 500 years, it can't be considered murder.
