The North Chinese leopard (Panthera pardus japonensis) is a subspecies of leopard native to northern China. This leopard is so rare that it is almost never seen in the wild. The animal makes its home in the forests and mountain meadows. Like all leopards, its prey varies from rodent, to deer, wild goats, and wild pigs. The North Chinese leopard is a medium sized leopard.
