At Novacea, we are fully committed to the belief that We Can™ succeed
in our efforts to in-license, develop, and commercialize therapies that
can potentially provide paradigm shifts in the treatment of a broad
number of cancers. This commitment is evidenced by the continued
advancement of our two lead oncology product candidates:
- Asentar™ (DN-101) currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of androgen-independent prostate cancer;
- AQ4N (Banoxantrone) currently being investigated, in combination with radiation and chemotherapy, in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial in patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme.
We have recently entered into an important strategic partnership with Schering Plough Corporation, which is designed to allow us to broaden our development platform for Asentar. This collaboration leverages Novacea’s existing capabilities with Schering-Plough’s experienced development, regulatory, and commercial teams.
