One of several leading female film editor from the golden age of Hollywood, Adrienne Fazan (May 9, 1906 – August 23, 1986) first started cutting films in 1933. She found her forte with the MGM musical heyday, working on such films as Anchors Aweigh (1945) and Kismet (1955). She was nominated for an Academy Award for An American in Paris in 1951, and received the award for Gigi in 1958.
