Band of the Hand is a 1986 crime film, released by TriStar Pictures. It was directed by Paul Michael Glaser and stars Stephen Lang, Lauren Holly, Laurence Fishburne and Leon. Michael Mann served as its executive producer. The film turned into a theatrical release after it failed as a television pilot . The title track, "Band of the Hand", is written by Bob Dylan, and while it appeared on the soundtrack album and as a single, it has never been released on one of his own albums.
