Béatrice Dalle (born December 19, 1964) is a French actress. Béatrice Dalle was born in Brest, Finistère, France, as Béatrice Cabarrou. She was married to Jean-François Dalle but is now divorced. She was working as a model when she met filmmaker Jean-Jacques Beineix. Beineix cast her in the lead role in the 1986 film 37°2 le matin (later released in the United Kingdom and United States under the title Betty Blue). She went on to appear in a series of major roles in French films. She is seen in a feature role in the 1991 music video "Move To Memphis" by Norwegian band a-ha. She made her debut to American audiences in Jim Jarmusch's Night on Earth in 1991. In 1997, she was cast in The Blackout, her first film made in the United States. The film itself was a commercial failure. She was cast to play opposite Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense in 1998.
