Bethlehem Records was a record label founded by Gus Wild and bought by King Records. It is mainly remembered for its jazz releases. It was the record company under which Nina Simone's 1958 debut album came out (Little Girl Blue). The Bethlehem Label was purchased by the Cayre Brothers (of Salsoul Records fame), who initially intended to release its back catalog for inexpensive 8-track tapes in the 1970s.
