Bruce Boa

Bruce Boa (10 July 1930 – 17 April 2004) was a Canadian actor, who found success playing the token North American in British films and television. His most prominent film role is probably the Star Wars sequel The Empire Strikes Back, in which he played the Rebel Alliance General Rieekan. Other film credits include: The Omen, Superman, Carry On Emmannuelle, Octopussy, Return to Oz, Full Metal Jacket, and Screamers. On television, his most notable role is probably the belligerent American guest, Mr. Hamilton, in the Waldorf Salad episode of the BBC hotel sitcom Fawlty Towers.
