Cambria County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is largely part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2000, the population was 152,598. Cambria County was created on March 26, 1804 from parts of Bedford, Huntingdon, and Somerset counties and was named for the nation of Wales. Its county seat is Ebensburg.
