Cluedo SFX (Clue FX in North America), or Super Cluedo Ineractif, is a board game which is based on Cluedo, which it serves as a prequel to. It was released in 2003 in the United States, months after the release of a new version of regular Cluedo. It is vastly different than previous editions of the game.
Like other editions of Cluedo, the object of the game is to solve a murder. Cluedo FX centers around the murder of Mr. Miles Meadow-Brook, Dr. Black's attorney. According to the rule book, Mr. Meadow-Brook and others were at a garden party at Dr. Black's estate, Tudor Mansion. Some while later, Mr. Meadow-Brook was found murdered. His body had been moved from elsewhere on the grounds. Players take the role of four amateur detectives (not the suspects, as in other editions) to solve the crime before presenting their solution to Inspector Brown. If they are right, they win.
