David Wharnsby (born June 20, 1967 in Waterloo, Ontario) is a Canadian film editor who lives in Toronto. He won a Genie Award in 2004 for his work on Guy Maddin's The Saddest Music in the World. He recently collaborated with his wife Sarah on the critically-acclaimed feature-length film Away from Her, which Sarah directed.
