DeWitt Bodeen (25 July 1908, Fresno, California — 12 March 1988, Los Angeles, California) was a film screenwriter who today is probably best remembered for writing Cat People (1942). Born Homer DeWitt Bodeen, he began his career as an actor and playwright before entering the film business.
