Glen Lantz (c.1965-1981) is a fictional character from the film A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). He was Nancy Thompson's boyfriend who didn't believe in Freddy Krueger but nevertheless helped her fight him. After falling asleep, he was killed by being sucked into his bed, screaming for his mother to help him, and squashed. Gallons of his blood then exploded out of the hole. In an alternate scene, Glen's body rose out of the bed with his blood. This scene was cut out of the movie. He was portrayed by Johnny Depp. Rumors report that Depp himself did all the stuntwork on this infamous scene in horror movie history, including the parts that were cut. full article at wikipedia
