Jon R. Cohen is an American vascular surgeon and politician from Lake Success, New York. He is currently the Chief policy advisor to Governor of New York David Paterson. Cohen had been a 2006 Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor of New York, a role that eventually went to Paterson.
