The Maritime Film Classification Board is a government organization responsible for reviewing films and granting film rating in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (and some theatres in Newfoundland and Labrador though it is not compulsory). Created on May 1, 1994, it is jointly funded by all three provinces through the Council of Maritime Premiers.
