Mary Quinn Sullivan (November 24 1877 – December 5 1939) was born Mary Josephine Quinn in Indianapolis, Indiana to Thomas F. Quinn and Anne E. Gleason Quinn; she was a pioneer modern art collector and one of the founding trustees of the Museum of Modern Art. Sullivan attended public schools in Indianapolis including the Shortridge High School, and in 1899 moved to New York to study art at the Pratt Institute.
