Pelswick is a 2000 animated television series produced by Nelvana for CBC Television in Canada and the Nickelodeon cable channel in the United States. The series, about a teenage boy who uses a wheelchair, emphasized how he lived a normal life and was based on the books created by John Callahan. Currently, it is no longer airing except on Latin America on the children´s cable channel ZAZ. FUNimation, a DVD distributor for the United States, considered releasing Pelswick on DVD in 2004, but plans fell through due to a low fan base. It aired on Nick on CBS on September 7, 2002, then ended in November the same year.
