Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity (ΠΚΑ) is an international, secret, social, Greek-letter, college fraternity. It was founded at 47 West Range at the University of Virginia in the United States on March 1 1868. Pi Kappa Alpha is an international brotherhood composed of 210 student chapters, 9 colonies, and 120 alumni associations. The Fraternity has more than 227,000 members and has maintained the largest average chapter and pledge class size of any international fraternity for most of the past 20 years. Pi Kappa Alpha, through its members, has donated millions of dollars to philanthropic causes and community organizations across North America. Pi Kappa Alpha's vision is to "set the standard of integrity, intellect, and achievement for our members, host institutions, and the communities in which we live."
