At breakfast, Nate decides that they should sell the business to Kroehner seeing as their buyout offer is quite generous and Nate does not want to pursue a career option as a funeral director. David feels betrayed seeing as Ruth and Claire side with Nate. David angrily gives Nate permission to call Gilardi of their decision. However at the meeting, Nate discovers that he actually wants to be a funeral director to keep the business alive and reconsiders selling the home. When Nate tells David his sudden revelation, he is somewhat relieved but also angered since Nate is still making all of the decisions. Later while cutting the hedges, Nate is visited by Gilardi who informs him that they have purchased an old home across the street...
