Albert Speer (pronounced /ˈʃpær/; born July 29, 1934 in Berlin) is a German architect and urban planner. He is son of the architect and Nazi Party official Albert Speer, who was a member of Adolf Hitler's inner circle and the Third Reich's Chief Architect. Albert Speer, père, served twenty years in prison for crimes against humanity after World War II. Albert Speer, Jr.'s grandfather Albert Friedrich Speer was also an architect.
