Vivek (Tamil: விவேக்) (born November 19, 1961 as Vivekanathan) is a Tamil film actor and comedian from Tamil Nadu, India. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The American College, Madurai. He is one of the leading comedians in Tamil cinema and has continued to dominate the industry, along with Vadivelu. In his career, Vivek has won 5 Filmfare Best Comedian Awards for his roles in Khushi, Minnale, Run, Perazhagan, and Sivaji.
