Sogndal is a former small seaport (ladested) and municipality in Rogaland county, Norway, lying in the traditional district of Dalane. It was comprised by the two harbor villages Sogndalsstrand and Rægefjord. The Sogndalselva which drains the Sogndal reaches the ocean at Rægefjord.
