The Terror

The Terror is a supervillain from The Tick comics published by New England Comics Press and created by Ben Edlund, the Terror is an aged supervillain who is variously estimated as being between 104-112 years old. He pilots a giant mechanical spider and is the head of a supervillain team called the Evileers, which includes Mr Tragedy, Multiple Santa, the Fuzzy Person and Tuun-La, not of This World. The Terror was the arch enemy of Barry Hubris, then known as the Tick. When Barry was stripped of his name and possessions, he formulated a plan for the Evileers to attack the Tick. The Evileers are subsequently defeated by all of the City's superheroes. The Terror appears in several other Tick adventures. In "The Tick Big Yule Log Special" 2001 (December 2000), the Terror lures the Tick and his superhero friends to a remote ski lodge, but before he can launch his trap, the Evileers are attacked by the Man-Eating Cow.
