The Bible were an independent UK band with lead singer Boo Hewerdine. The band released two critically acclaimed album in the mid 1980s.
In 1985 Hewerdine, who worked in a record shop in Cambridge, formed The Bible, recruiting jazz drummer Tony Shepherd. They released an album of songs through the independent Norwich based record label, Backs Records, called Walking The Ghost Back Home.
