Eek & Meek was a comic strip written and illustrated by Howie Schneider. The strip began in 1965 and ran until 2000.
The strip featured the foibles of two title characters - Eek was an aggressive alcoholic who was always seen with a bowler hat and a beard stubble. The other character, Meek, is exactly as his name implies. Supporting characters includes Monique, Meek's love interest; Luvable, a rebellious kid, and his friend Freaky.
This strip is notable because all the characters started out as mice, only to morph into humans in early 1980s.
