Michele Rosewoman is an American jazz pianist born in Oakland, CA, most notable for her work as a sidewoman on the recordings of such artists as Greg Osby and M-Base as well as for her own ensembles and trio and quintet recordings, including numerous releases by her Quintessence ensemble.
