Marcia Kemper McNutt is an American geophysicist. She is currently president and C.E.O. of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, an oceanographic research center in the United States, and a professor of marine geophysics at the Stanford University School of Earth Sciences. In 2002, Discover magazine named McNutt one of the top fifty women in science. She is a past president of the American Geophysical Union. McNutt is a University of California, San Diego Alumna and graduated from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. full article at wikipedia
