Con-Text is a second season episode of the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In this episode, Detectives Goren and Eames investigate the case of two low-rent criminals found slain and dumped on a field. During the investigation, Goren and Eames discover some depleted hidden bank accounts. The finger of suspicion immediately points to the son and half-brother of the victims, who also had his mind warped by a self-improvement guru. They suspect that this man exploited a fragile disciple by convincing him to commit the crimes for profit. Even though the detectives arrest their prime suspect, they cannot make a case against the motivational speaker. Then, Goren is forced to elaborate an unorthodox approach to discover whether the chief suspect was coerced into carrying out the murders.
