Release date

  1.
    1. is different for different countries/continents.

      1. For musical albums, we have a convention of just using the first release date, but there are other Web sites for tracking the utter minutiæ of records. This is really a question, then, of how much the user community wants to see and maintain a list of national releases or whether there’s more interest in seeing when a game first hit the streets anywhere. (And in the Internet age, do the national boundaries really matter all that much?)

      2. indeed, I was just this second wondering the same thing.

Maybe even just a release year is better than having nothing at all.

      3. The suggest of "vtawar" is good idea because release date is very different.

        Exemple:
        Mario striker charge
        US: July 30, 2007
        Japan: December 31, 2007
        Europe: May 25, 2007

And different platform, release date is not all time the same date.

        Exemple ;
        Resident evil 4
        Wii verison :
        US: June 19, 2007
        Japan: May 31, 2007
        Europe: August 29, 2007
        Play station:
        US: October 25, 2005
        Japan: December 31, 2005
