Ljusdal is a town (pop. 7,600) in Hälsingland, Sweden and the seat of Ljusdal Municipality, Gävleborg County. Ljusdal is located beside the river Ljusnan which goes from Bruksvallarna to Ljusne. Ljusdal is famous for hosting the annual World Cup in the sport of bandy. In Ljusdal almost everything is about bandy, the world cup is the greatest event of the year.
