Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is a 1995 video game based on the Power Rangers film of the same name. It was released for SNES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, and Sega Game Gear. It was released around the same time as the the movie itself, at the peak of Power Rangers popularity.
The SNES version of the game does not follow the plot of the film though the Ninja Megazord does appear at the end of the game. Other than Ivan Ooze all the enemies in the game are either taken from the second season of the show or made up. The game is a side-scrolling action game. All six Power Rangers are included: Adam, Kimberly, Billy, Aisha, Rocky, and Tommy. They each have signature abilities and moves. Unlike the previous game, the player doesn't morph from human to Ranger halfway through the level but instead morphs once a "Thunder Meter" is filled.
