Pete has a strong background in technology and consumer online services, having worked for organizations including IBM, JP Morgan and Battery Ventures. Most notably, Pete handled Interactive Marketing and Business Development for Europe's largest online travel company, lastminute.com. As part of the original launch team, he helped grow the company to more than 2,000 employees in 12 countries and over $1 billion in annual transactions, resulting in the company's acquisition in 2005 by Travelocity for more than $1.1 billion.

Pete earned his Master's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford and his MBA from Stanford University. His inspiration for Trulia came from the challenges he faced during his own home research online, after which he committed to build an intuitive online search tool to help fellow home buyers locate and make sense of the vast amount of real estate information on the Web, combined with a business model that made sense for brokers and agents.
