Michi-chan is the character name of Michelle Eyre from REC Networks. Inspired by the Hello Project and various other female styles of Japanese popular music, Michi-chan has recorded several parody songs of Japanese and Western pop songs both in English and in Japanese. Michi is a transgender artist who transitioned artistically in 2007 under the Michi-chan name. Michi-chan reflects her female persona while her "group" called "Srap All Around" (a parody of the Japanese pop band Attack All Around), reflects a more unisex persona. In her former male identity, she produced and performed many parody songs, mainly related to either her former telephone entertainment line or the Skyscanner Satellite Radio Network. Michelle is a big fan of the grassroots roller derby leagues. She is seen at roller derby events in Arizona and Las Vegas.
