Ken Goldstein is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
of SHOP.COM, providing the strategy and vision to achieve the company's
mission of being a market leader and recognized innovator in driving
forward the experience of online consumer commerce. Known for his
leadership and creative expertise, Goldstein joined the company in June
2006.
Previously, Goldstein served as executive vice president
and managing director of Disney Online, the business unit of the Walt
Disney Internet Group that produced the No. 1 entertainment destination
for kids and families on the World Wide Web. Goldstein was responsible
for all creative, technical, marketing, and financial initiatives
surrounding the presence of the Disney brand on the Internet. Prior to
Disney, Goldstein served as Broderbund Software's vice president of
entertainment and founding general manager of the company's Red Orb
Entertainment division. Before the formation of Red Orb Entertainment
at Broderbund, he was responsible for all aspects of development on the
highly acclaimed Carmen Sandiego series while supervising brand
development through three television series and broad expansion of an
international merchandising program. Prior to Broderbund, Goldstein
worked as a designer/producer at Philips Interactive Media and
Cinemaware Corporation, and for several years as a screenwriter and
television executive. Goldstein is very active in children's welfare
issues throughout California. He currently sits on the boards of
trustees of Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services as well as the
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. Goldstein received his
Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University.
