The House of Clocks is a 1989 Italian horror film directed by Lucio Fulci. Although originally slated to air on Italian cable television, the finished film was deemed too violent by producers, and was relegated to a DTV release. The story revolves around a wealthy older couple who are murdered during a robbery by three young perpetrators. The event results in a supernatural reversal of time, symbolized by the fast, counter-clockwise movement of hands on the house's many clocks. Eventually, this leads to the resurrection of the older couple, who subsequently seek to terrorize the three burglars. Completed late in the director's career, many Fulci fans consider this film to fall below the standard of quality set by such earlier works as Zombi 2 (1979) and The Beyond (1981). full article at wikipedia
