Dale McGladdery has 20 years of public and private sector information technology experience in system/network administration, security, web site administration/development and programming. He has also studied writing, corporate communications, been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a Diploma of Electronics in Telecommunications from BCIT.
Dale is active in the local IT community. He's currently co-manager for the Vancouver Drupal Users Group and a coordinator/board member for Drupal Camp Vancouver, Open Web Vancouver, and Northern Voice. In addition to attending numerous tech events each month he's held executive positions with CIPS Security SIG, Vancouver Linux User Group, Westcoast Security Forum, Vancouver NT User Group, and the BC VAX User Group.
Dale's non-technical pursuits include checking out the latest movie, reading, podcasting, breaking bread with friends, and urban hiking. His "right brain" website is Digital Doodles and he talks about movies on the After the Credits podcast.
