Gender (domain_administrator)

The Freebase system type, "gender", only includes the options "Male" and "Female".  This is not enough.

I made this experimental "Gender" domain to show some of the more complex models of gender which can exist.  Please play with it and try to populate it with some transgender/genderqueer/etc people.

I think this domain could co-exist alongside the existing system type for "Gender" if the system type would just add "Other" as an option.  Then if someone's not male or female, or it's more complicated, you set them as "Other" then co-type them as "Transgender person" to specify the complexities.

If you want to look round this domain, the best place to start is probably with "Transgender Person".
